2.8 lifters in a 2.9?
Just wondering if anyone has checked if a 2.8 solid lifter will work in a 2.9. I'm getting valvetrain noise like crazy on the freeway and it seems like a solid lifter would end collapsed lifters forever. Thanks -Jack- Wrxpulse

Hello folks, I've been working on a 1988 ranger stx 2.9 5 speed 4x4 with 260,xxx miles that I bought cheap off a dealership backlot.
