was wondering if u might know the torque specs on tightening the injectors i have a 85 ranger 2.3 turbo w several manuals but they show nothing any help would be appreciated

I am hoping to upgrade head rockers turbo but am triing to do it in stages i have read all your posts so thank you for all the info , ebay has lots of water pumps i was wondering if i could run the 4d56 pump for a while before i do head and turbo? you had recomended the td04-10t what about the td04-15g or td04L-15t/ thanks for your help

Thanks , Mike emailed me . I got my truck back up and running . As for the gearing i am looking for some more pulling power without stressing the clutch ( witch I just put out) looks like Im doing a clutch tomorrow. trucks in the shed to dry out. I am hoping to maybe go 4.11 gears and running 29" / 15s

I have upgraded to Dana 44's because I run 33 tires and my gearing is 5.13. But even with the 3.53 gears your truck should be a rocket. I are wanting to lower the gears because the truck feels sluggish?

As for Mike, I was just at his place last week and we had dinner. He is super busy lately with work, and he is having to pick up all the extra slack at home because his wife broke he leg. I will call him tomorrow and let him know you need some parts.

hey I still havent been able to make contact with mike warme , but still trying. I had a question about gearing , I think my truck has a 3.53 rear end with a 5 speed . Do you run low gears in your truck if so how low could i go and still drive 55mph? ( truck lugs with 28/15" had to go back to 25/14") thanks sam

hey man im in the process of putting this motor back in and imm kickin myself in the ass for not taking any pictures of the engine bay was wondering if u had any pictures u could send me of the engine bay like hoses for injection pump fuel filter in that area my email is kknurick@yahoo.com any visual help would be greatly appreciated not much info out there on em and u seem to kno alot

hey man i c u no alot about the 2.3l diesel i just rebuilt my 2.3l diesel too.now i have the other block and i wanted to end up turning that thing into a 2.5l 4d56, do they use the same injection pump?, injector size?, i know u need the water cooled turbo/setup and the head any thnig else and how much money for all this setup.
