Ya it sure has. About 12" to 18" of silt(read: cow shit) on top of hard pan, once you lose momentum you are ****ed.
Now I stick to rocks.

i can't wait! it's ALMOST mud season up here in canada!! when you have 3 feet of snow on top of clay, and it all melts in about 2 weeks, there's a TONNE of water, which makes mud EVERYWHERE!

Yup i got it stuck. Had to get daddy in his f-150 thats a pavement queen of a 4x4 to get me out then he started showing off in 2wd and braggs about mudding in his truck! Hes 67yo by the way

Ok I need some explination... My best friend from childhood is a Calgary boy now, moved there in early high school (grade 9) and has barely left since.

He is also new to driving, in general, so I need to introduce him to the awesomeness that is cheap trucks (His first car is a 2002 Corolla or so... Gotta get him into a cheap 4x4) and I figure the best option is to take my truck out the him, and show him how awesome it is....

You live in Calgary right? Which part? Which direction is the best for wheeling? I know towards Banff must have a LOT of shit, but the rockies are also very steep, torturous terrain. I can experience I lot of mud here...

What does Cow-town have to make me actually want to come back?

Wheeling "in" Calgary is pretty much 1 of 2 places, a) McLean creek (my favorite) which is about 10-15 minutes from trail to city limits, or b) Waiparous, which is about an hour from cochrane, which is about 20 minutes out of Calgary... Waiparous is open year round, where as McLean is closed from November 1st to the middle of may (to trucks and bikes)

And why to come here? Drunk ****s... I like em! Lol
