i got the new pinyun nut & seal today......as soon as my little eyes open tomorrer (God willing)......i'm gonna replace the old(new) ones with the new new ones.....

just look at the pics i alredy took of the gear swap & imagine me doin everything RIGHT this time..........

this is NOT a good place for an ignition switch......

mocked up in dash....it won't stick out of the dash but 1/2" when everything is in place...

O,K>................the pinion seal and NEW nut are installed (blackwidow...!)................and the Throttle (starter switch) is finioshed.....here's a pic of it....the throttle knob/pull-handle painted to match the dash with a nice chrome bezel holding it in place on the dash.........




now all I gotta do is install the air-shock gauges in the hole to the right of the throttle knob.......

works great....(still haven't figured out why I didn't want a key-switch....guess it looks to ordinary,,,,,


anyhow......I use the remote start to crank the engine/turn on central air....when i gets in the truck, i pull the ......no .....wait.... i push in the throttle knob that is connected to the ignition switch....it engages the switch & cancels the remote start/anti-theft system...then i drives to S O N I C ................

my wife says,,,,,"how is anybody supposed to be able to drive this thing?"


i replies........."they ain't!"



so.....don't tell anybody how to start the truck......O.K. ?

Sounds....huuuu.....simple enough....for you at least. And if the battery for the electric start controller dies then are you able to start it still? Can't imagine having a battery die and you can't start her up.....

Did I say that I scored about 7 yards of headliner material while I was visiting Biloxi Miss-sippi ?

No reason now not to get busy.....I realyy.....erela.......really.... need a small console below the dash for drink-holders/c.d.s/tire pressure gauges/camera/electric tape/coins/etc.---(that zip-lock bag laying between the bucket seats just ain't adequate...)

wonder how long this is gonna take ???????
