user CP
under networking on the left- you see group memberships- then you see down the list SAS 1/2 ton group- on the right there is a "bubble" you can click to join this group.

it gives you an icon like my 1000 watts RMS one under usernames

they should have a 1/2 ton IFS swap bubble...

Good lookin swap, you always manage to do simple, clean, tasteful work.

I plan to swap an expo disc brake axle in with the next 6-months.

Did you notice and improvement in braking capability?

yes, I haven't drove it a lot yet but I tell already there is a difference

Is that the SSB conversion kit?

Stainless Steel Brakes Co. sells a kit for the 8.8 they call the Exploder disc brake kit. Looks the same as your setup but is all new parts.

is this swap an easy thing to do i have a 97 mazda B2300 aka ranger and i wanna do this swap on mine to a L/S diff. so i can drag race and was wandering how hard its gonna be???

If I remember correctly, the b2300's use the 7.5" diff, which uses different u-joints, and a different yoke, so the driveshaft won't be a straight bolt up... But that being said, it still shouldn't be too hard...

Somewhere in the early '90's I think they all went to the same bolt pattern.

What lengths and size of brake line tubing did you buy OP? And what did you do to get the parking brake to work?
