got a sneaking suspicion this thing will use more fuel than stretch.not the ranger,though.that thing's got the fuel economy of an abrams tank.

plus,i'd have a hard time figuring out where to put everyone with the gt.

What motor is in stretch? Also I think you have a fair bit of parasitic loss with all that driveline in the ranger lol.

which ranger? i'm not familiar with that thread... i know the rear steer expo, the canada flag bII, this, i remember seeing a tube framed box, and possibly exo cage, on a ranger, but nothing more about it...

His TOTY ranger has a 460 amidships with 3 transmissions and 2 transfer cases, and a wicked tranverse leaf link suspension

wait, i seem to remember seeing a picture of an articulated ranger with transverse leafs, but that was infront of the... national 4wd? in cloverdale/surrey on 64th right by willowbrook, and the transverse spring was designed so that when one side was at full droop, it still had room to droop, because there was no limiting straps, and the axle fell away from the spring...

but i don't think that's GWAII, as he lives (currently) in northern bc, though now that i thnk about it, i think there is actually mention somewhere that has him living in the metro...

yeap that was the ranger i thought it was, i finished reading the build thread, it wasn't nearly as long as this thread was... though i didn't read all the comments "damn this is cool" gets repetitive after not long lol...


oh, and GWAII, i think you need to make an index thread, just basicially a repository of links to key points in the different epic builds you have done...
