that's why i get pissy with people that say they can't do something because they don't have a fully equipped shop.

the ranger i built in my driveway.in the rain.froze my butt off.

never saw the new one....but with the original i always thought it was funny that no matter how bad a crash happenned,even when a helicopter got hit by an rpg then slammed into a cliff face.....everyone ran away without a scratch.and not just the main characters,everyone.

Ok so let me get this straight you have four wheel steer ranger, topless explorer, custom built F-series, you build custom boats, and your building a V12 powered rocketship in the basement but you havn't built yourself a garage.

That was a 4-wheel-steer, topless explorer. The Ranger is the one with a 460 (IIRC) and a somewhere around a thousand gears. You also forgot the rear engineed, 460 powered, wheel standing BBB2.

Damn you beat me, guess that's what I get for trying to check my facts. Got lost re-reading the evolution of the Ranger.

HE actually had the 2.9 air compressor and hand tools for the others? I thought he used a gym-clip and bubble gun wrapper to build those. He's building the V12 rocket ship with hand tools, I don't think he even needed them for the others.

OK oK, I get the point what a amazing work I need to look into your other builds I've been missing alot. I've seen several pics of your tarp shed but I figured it was just a back up cause your garage was over taken from other projects. I like your raw blue collar way of doing things.

got a lot done today.it was the first day of spring,warm and sunny.......so....

THE BOAT!

Y'all know what this means.summer's coming!

i dragged the old girl out of her corner,took the cover off and did the spring tuning.fired it up,cleaned it up,installed the new compass and a voltmeter and bilge pump.sorted out the tackle box,sharpened the fillet knife.


so why is this in the gt thread?because it may have an impact on the time allotment the gt gets in the next while.

that's a shame....it was so nice,i couldn't stay inside.and the boat's been calling to me for a while now.might even put it in the water soon.springs aren't running yet,but that's no excuse for not getting a hook wet

I think you need that steering wheel on the GT... looks like it should be in the GT and not the boat lol...

ya,the boat's pretty basic...almost antique.like you said....it's what i do for a living.it's not my passion.still like to get away from it all and head out on the ocean,though.

wait till i get onto the other boat...that's the hot-rod

it's actually about the same size as the gt's wheel....but the one in the gt is an original triumph gt wheel,and the one in the boat is an original grady white wheel.

so they'll be staying in their own homes

I know, but it seems like it would look right in the GT. IDK.

Boat looks good though, nice and clean, and the motors look really good for their age
