5 lug back spacers question?

Just joined TRS. love it so far. proud owner of a 04 single cab 2wd and just bought 32x11.5 mastercraft tires mounted on f150 rims and was wondering if they make a 5 lug 5.5 inch converting backspacers to a 5 lug 4.5 inch lug pattern??? this would save me some cash, not having to re mount and maybe changing the backspace a little in the process. thanks for the help so far.

Just be careful with using spacers on wheels that do not belong to a Ranger. The wheel pattern is different and the back spacing is different as well. You are really looking for adaptors (bolt pattern style). Check your local 4x4 shop and see if they can help you out or tell you that you should not use this rim...just in case. I don't want you to get injured!!!

Yep alot of them sell spacers AND adapters. I would only get the hubcentric ones though.

Just so you know those are NOT hubcentric. I personally would not use ones that wernt.

These are hubcentric, notice the raised locator ring around the center hole.

Whats the difference? I know one relys on the hub to center, and the other the lug nuts, but what difference does it really make?

97+ F-150's are hub centric, but you having 15's says that they are not factory 97+ rims so I also do not know you should have to have hub centric adaptors.

If torqued properly they should not move so there should not be a difference.

Hell no never use an impact on lugs ever, ever!!! Torque the adaptors to their specs and the rims to their specs period! Do what the mfg say not joe smuck.

Buy a click style torque wrench. You can buy a fairly good one for around $100.00 or less.

I agree, I bought my craftsman torque wrench in December and i've already used it on 5 separate projects, and it's never let me down.
