exactly why i dont miss him, hey, you know rangers, thats great, there's things that i can do better than a lot of people but i dont shove it in their face at every chance.."busy at work" may have been a good excuse, but if he was "so smart" he probaly figured out that no one like him..
+2 Like him or not he was a wealth of knowledge on many subjects. Not to say AllanD isn't, but two heads are better than one.

Gross was an awesome guy....somewhat biased and liberal, but very intelligent. And the way he would argue with people.....awesome. Him and Allan used to go at it, pretty funny stuff.
Haven't seen Wicked for a while...it's okay though, he was the only one that liked the 3.0 anyway. He can keep his little 3.0.

a lot of the classic knowledge base of this site is gone... I really miss having DaveR around, I remember back in the day of fordrager.com when people asked questions and others answered... now there's a lot of bad answers that get spread like wildfire... BillG disappeared recently, things changed a few years ago I guess people just moved to bigger and better things. The text messaging and facebook fads are changing the internet...

I guess everyone forgot that I'd go at it with MAKG a lot too, not quite as much as AllanD, but there were some feuds (especially when MAKG told someone with a 2000 2wd Ranger that they could take the bolt off of the bottom of the coil spring and stack washers to lift the truck - 98+ coil sprung rangers had an A-arm suspension and MAKG argued with me that I was wrong and he was right for about three pages....)
I did enjoy trading verbal jabs with him though, kept everyone on their toes.
And I do miss a lot of the older members that have drifted away: Tempe (although he might still lurk in the audio forum), DaveR, (I know I'm going to hell for this one, but I do kinda miss GABII), Fastpaker, Elfastobigturbo AKA Elfasto AKA MaxPayne, and some of the others (their names will come to me later I'm sure - haven't had my coffee yet.)
