Anyone near SE San Diego?

My Ranger is in Bonita, at my fiancé's parents' house and I'm going to be replacing the Cooling system and doing a lot of basic engine work in a couple weeks and I was wondering if anyone wanted to help out.

I'm not too great with these engines much as I am mostly a GM guy but I think I can tackle it myself. Just looking for any help from the area.

Let me know if you'd like to help out.


It would probably be the weekend of Feb 4-5, or depending on when all my parts come in.

Thanks for the offer, but I didn't see it in time... However, it would have been pointless anyway, as I was swamped this weekend.

I just need 5 Intake manifold bolts and she'll be up and running I think!

be careful with those intake bolts. They tend to snap. I broke two off in the block

Well, I need new ones because they got lost. By chance do you know where I can find new ones? Mine are oddly, skinnier, than most.

Marshalls Industrial Hardware on Production Ave. They wont be the same, but they have most of the right lengths and widths. If not there, Junkyard. Hwy 67 Truck Dismantlers in Lakeside would be your best bet as far as used ones.
