oh yea I know what your talking about I never thought of that.

man if i could get my hands on this rare butie i couldn't change my underwear fast enough.

How Rare??

yes it is all fiberglass.. but an original "eleanor" is worth 5x that of a "clone", a real saleen ranger would be worth 5x that of a ranger with a bunch of shit on it that you did in your garage..now if it was for a custom show vehicle go for it, but a "clone" wouldnt be as valuable as the original..just saying..

it's all fiberglass...start building:headbang:

Hey i got one of the battery things, i had no clue what it was until now :icon_rofl:.

I found it the little glove boxes in the back of my B2

How long has the "Offroad" package been around? My 99 has skid plates like every other 4x4, but my mom's 04 Edge doesn't have any skid plating, no "Offroad" package? Did they just used to slap them on any factory 4x4?

+1 on it not being rare at all

Maybe the thing i thought was a battery hold down isnt. Here is a pic, what do you guys think it is?

How Rare??

^ my guess would be another form of battery hold down.

adsm08: I've seen many of those types of hold downs around too, but most vehicles have the "wedge" now at the base of the battery and that's all. Not sure if the big over-the-battery thing is american standard or if it just has to do with vehicle age...

The Ranger Toupe' that you speak of was made by Centurian Conversions. They also are the ones who made the Chevy S-10 "Top Gun" blazers and pickup as well as a million other "special" trucks.

There should be a part number "stamped" in it right where it meets the Left windshield pillar. It should start with 2 numbers a space 1 letter than 6 more numbers.

There were a couple of these listed on e-bay a couple years ago...for STUPID money. If I remember the starting bid was around $350.00 US.

Cool thanks man I'll half to go out in the cold sometime this week to the garage and look at it. I'm hoping I can look it up on a search engine.

Yea nothing I get lots of four door bronco and van converions but nothing on ranger or S10 I couldn't even bring up pics of anything. I'm going to half to see if I can find the part number and look it up that way. I was hoping to find a website of the company so I could e-mail them but they don't have one about the only thing I did find out, was they are out of michigan.:dunno:
