Well, Mikey is a scientist so if he can't see it, it isn't there. I can forgive him for that, I've got a cousin that's the same deal.
IMO the New Testament supersedes the Old Testament, so in my life that is the God I deal with.
Quite a lot of scientists accept that there are things that can't be seen. It's just not a scientific statement, so you won't find it in the literature.
For me, if it can't make a damn bit of difference, it doesn't matter whether it's there or not.
So, did God change from the Old to New Testaments, or did people? It's certainly true that God is presented quite differently in the New Testament. Which part of the Bible is wrong? They can't both be literal truth.
And God is still an asshole if questioning the worship of a missing corpse gets one eternal pain.
And which New Testament is correct? There is more than one. Hint: there is a holy site just outside the walls of Jerusalem, facing the Mount of Olives, called "Mary's Tomb."
