I'm gonna try it like it is for now till I get better at using my arc welder I don't have a mig yet so I'm kinda limited with my tools but at the body shop where I work we have just about everything. When I take off the body lift ill try and move it up in to the grill and angle back the frame like you said.

So did u just weld that plate up to the frame first? I can't tell by the pics but what does the tube get welded to on the bottom?

I think our frames are kinda different in the front cuz if u look at mine ill post up some new pics when I get home but on mine it dips down to go under the core support where is urs stays flat all the way thu to the front. Like if u look on my last pics with with out the plate u can see the body mont and how its smaller there. I still the its possible to do like urs but it wouldn't go up as high unless I cut and modded the core support.

cut the frame flat and plate it back to the core support, and yea welded the plate between the frame rails then actually ran the tube through the plate

ok here is what i have

i can move it up about 4 inch's from where it sits now but i cant move it any futher back with out the core gettin in the way. i think the only way i can do it like u said would be to cut up the core. i have the skills to do it and would be able to do everything but i need a mig welder lol

yea not as much room as i was thinking....i would just cut the frame on top and plate it back flat and go from there with your winch plate and stick it out from the frame as much as you need to

can i cut that bottom part of the core out so when i take off my body lift it would the part that dips down would be flat across and i can put my plate there on top of the frame?

so here is something i put on a few weeks ago just figured id put it up.

it lights up everything really good on that side im gonna get another set of lights cuz i only had one of them and put one on the other side.

new head lights and other parts

well i got some parts in the mail over the last week but im still waiting to put some of them.

new head lights from ebay. i paid less then 25 for them and they came with bulbs but they was the blue ones so i got some silverstar ultras and wow there bright.

also got some new radius arm bushings cuz mine are junk so ill be puttin them in soon i hope.

i got them from ebay for i think 20 bucks and free shipping for both sides.

then i got these stickers lol.

so nothing is getting done on the winch yet because i cant make up my mind on how i wanna put it on. i also cant find the bolts i need to take off my body lift i might have to go to like a fastenal and get some. i seen some at lowes i might get but they never have enuf lol. guess ill have to keep goin in until i get 12 bolts.

How did you get them for 25 bucks cheaper? 25 bucks cheaper than LMC or?..

i got them on ebay. there there just gotta look for the ones u want and u can get them cheappp!
