Tire fitment

I saw the tire fitment chart, but it starts with 2in lifts. what about stock height?

example. 2000 ranger xlt. whats the largest you can fit stock? with out rubbing, obviously.

I know the newer 2wd and 4wd T-bar rangers are 2" taller then the 93-97 2wd... But aren't the 98-08's an inch or two taller as well?

this isnt a t-bar ranger, im talking about my buddys 2000 XLT...

Yeah, I was wondering if coil sprung 2wds 98+ were also 2" taller.
Atleast I've always had that thought. Should have worded it differently.

No, only t-bar trucks sit taller.

A std 2WD truck, 30s is about max unless you want to trim fenders.

30's will fit good no rubbing? or should i go a little smaller?

if you're the same height as me... 29.5's will rub inside fender at full flex

I'm confused. I like the tire chart in the tech library better, but it only shows with lift, not at stock height.

It's possible 30s may rub if you flex it out, yes.

if you want to avoid any rubbing at all, then use the 235/75R15.

i have 31's on my 94 4wd, i havent gotten to realy wheel it since i bought it yet but flexing it a bit on dirt mounds and such never lead to any rubbing. bumps while moving would probly be a different story though.

His setups totally different though... Newer Gen 2wd.
2 inches lower then your 4wd
