Hello i've been reading and enjoying this site for a while, finally a member
I drive a black 1995 supercab XLT 2WD - 2.3 5 Sp.
I bought it with 89 K mi. in '02, now(feb of 08) has just under 200 K mi.
I removed the intake silencer, removed muffler and added straight pipe.
No oil leaks, no smoke or oil consumption, runs great, decent MPG-26 avg.
(22 winter) and could get better mpg if i tried- 28.1 mpg best.

What part of Illinois are you from?

I got 27.5 mpg with my 4.0 when I moved out here to IL about 3 months ago..... yeah it surprised the crap out of me too =P

Hes dead nuts north of Bloomington on 39.

Glad your a member finally, im from Illinois, I lived on the north side up by the state line. We've got quite a few members from Illinois. And to go with the mileage theme, I get 18 on a good day, yet i've had as good as 24 with a 30 knot tail wind.

I usually get around 17-18mpg but for some reason, on that one day, I got 27 1/2. I have no clue how....
