I had done some searching and answered my own question- amazing what will turn up if you use that little button, isn't it?

not wasted at all... what did you find? i know that engine is popular with the sammy crowd. will it work in a rbv?

Ive seen these engines in sammy's and they seem to work great for off road but cant say they would really be good on road in an RBV.

But anything is possible with the right tools.

its power ratings are higher then a 2.8, 2.9 and 4.0.....so id imagine that itd work awesome in a ranger. and the minor hopups that u can do to them makes guys with a 5.0 wish they had a vw motor lol

lol, ya, but im sure itll cost alot more todo it that way then with parts available stateside already

i'm thinking the ones for the Range Rovers should be easier to get here.
