Production numbers

Hello, just wondering if anyone has seen a list of production numbers for 1989-92 Rangers ? Including numbers of 4x4, 2wd, colors, ex-cab, reg cab, std and auto.

If this information is on TRS please forgive and point me in the right direction.

Yes, like how many were made. And why, well, just to know I suppose! A better question would be why not? We are all here to gain as much knowledge as possible about RBV’S and to share that information with others, weather that information be technical, statistical or general.

Well, I'm not sure how many were made, but yes, we are all hear to learn and share knowledge.

I was more interested in if the information was for a statistics project or something. I think it would be awesome to cite TRS in a school project.

I do know that Auto Zone's website used to give you the % of vehicles of a certain year that came with a given engine.

im not sure if i trust the percentage thing at autozone. its had some outrageous sounding statistics that ive seen. not saying its not right, just saying its hard for me to believe sometimes.

If any body DOES find that info, I'd be curious to find out how many '94 Rangers were built with the 2.3/4x4/M5 drivetraine, and along with that, how many were XL trim and purple.

Yeah, im going to have to agree with you on this one.

I had asked the same question about Mustang's, on a Mustang forum of course, and its unreal how much info could be found. Right down to interior colors and options. I guess its a sports car so I can understand. Please, if any one has other information on this topic, do tell!

Back when I had my 94 Ranger, Autozone told me 48% of 94's came with the 3.0, and 52% came with the 4.0. And there I was driving around in a 2.3
