Utah peeps!!!

So you just went in and they said you don't have a job anymore

that's how it was for the rest of the staff, i kept my job. my boss kept me on to run http://carsold.com/ which he also owns, and for the last few months i was running it simultaneously from ogden. but now i don't have to drive all the way to ogden. but i had to sacrifice my commissions, and my company car:bawling:

That's nice you get to work from home now I assume you mean by not driving all the way to Ogden. I'll have to check that site out.

On another note, I was reading another thread and saw something you posted. I damn near pissed myself. I really hope the 2 guys stuff is made up, but the smoke stack part is for sure lame as hell.

but on a different note a few years ago i saw 2 guys making out in the park, and that was the gayest thing i had ever seen until it became fashionable to put smoke-stacks coming out of the bed of pickup truck..........ford, dodge, or chevy

actually his corporate office is in midvale. which is a 15 minute drive, instead of an hour and 15 minute drive

the 2 guys part was all made-up. :icon_rofl:....i'm glad for that

but the part about smoke stacks on pickup trucks being gayer than 2 guys making out is all fact buddy :icon_thumby:

That's good to know. I was thinking that would be a rare sight in Utah. :shok:

so are we all thinking next week for a meet-up at hires?

Yep. That is the plan. Any input on which day would be best?
I just cut two holes in my bronco top. I'm going to run my exhaust
out the top. That would be bitchen huh!!!:headbang:

^^ i assume that you were making a sarcastic reference to our smoke stack discussion :dunno:

but after a long talk with my boss it seems like my duties will obviously be diminished so therefore my wages will be diminished accordingly to the point that i am still employed but looking around for something better that will also have more room for advancement than managing a mediocre website has.

any ideas guys?

Do you do transmission work? My buddy has a shop and I'll talk to him if you would like. I showed him your rig and he liked it. He's a Chevy/Dodge fan and is always capping on Fords, so a Chevy powered Ford struck his fancy.

i hate working on sleds, i only did it because my business partner already had a large customer base that was mostly sleds. doing mechanic work on the side out of my garage is not consistent enough to quit a full-time job for (despite have some killer weeks). plus i don't want to wrench unless i absolutely have to. i was running a pretty large side business last year, but it took time to build up a customer base.

like i said i am employed, i just want something that is a better fit, especially a "better fit" as far as wages go.
