just a straight swap? no big cutting of anything? it would probs void my warranty though... so nvm![]()
did u buy ur ranger from a taco dealer the reason i ask is ur license plate cover![]()
Not a swap, but it is a fairly easy install as long as you are comfortable with a bit of wiring and don't mind cutting a hole in your headliner. Shouldn't affect anything to do with warranty.
On my 2010 I've done:
The Explorer OHC
RECON White lightning tailgate light bar
2" Torsion twist & 2" Rear shackles (to clear 265/75/16 Toyo mud's)
Kenwood Deck (also a cheapo sub/amp)
Magellan GPS (just the window mount so it's not really a "mod")
I have a CB and 4-100Watt (6") Halogen lights that I'm deciding on how/where to install as well...
I think that's it for now...
ya it was on the used lot at the local toyota dealer. i have a replacement frame, i just havent put it on yet.
funny feeling that cutting holes and wiring will void a warranty.
id also never crank my bars. their set for a reason, id rather just buy a lift. but i wont cus im lowering my truck.![]()

Set for a reason? Lolwhat? The CVs can handle the extra angle. Me and many others have ran cranked without problems for a long time.

I second that motion, I've been running my cranked for six years now on my '04. Good call ozzie. lol![]()
Yup, been running cranked bars for 4 years (3 on my 07 and now 1 on my 2010) with no issues. As long as you don't let your cv's droop too far it's fine. downtravel can be an issue but a simple spacer at the top of your front shocks will alleviate that...
