Peterson's Ultimate Adventure

cool...i always thought that would be an awsome experience.

That's pretty bad ass. Even though I've lost faith in Petersen's off-road....I'll be picking it up to look at it, because of this for sure.

congratulations y'all, i've had the issue from last year's UA on the back of my toilet for the last 8 months, i cant wait to get this one

Figured you'd have run out of pages by now.

Pictures look awesome guys, i can't wait to read about how the trip went in 4WOR when i get them in the mail. Looking forward to it.:icon_cheers:

Yeah so I read this months issue and they did the top ten factory 4wheel drive trucks.... the ranger was nowhere to bee seen, you know where they were at? Top rides for under 1000 bux, gen 2 rangers and b2's. The small truck may be a small biche market but im kind of fed up. All the mustang magazines used to shit on the v6 stangs and say tehre is no upgrade options or market for them, yet I know at least 100 3.8's over 600 hp. Now the big name mags are doing it to our trucks too, and the kicker?.....theres no market because everyone listens to and reads the mags, If they printed more shyt about us there would be a bigger market, but we have to succumb to their ignorance.

I dunno, maybe Im just pissed off about everything I drive being underrated by the "experts".

Back to the subject at hand, awesome that you guys made it into the mag, maybe it will garner us some much needed attention. The trucks look great too by the way.

That looks like hella fun! Great job getting to go. Anyone that read Peterson's Offroad article on the Whipsaw trail, it is mostly accurate but there are a few errors. Oh, and they drove it last year not this one.

You know what? I LOVE driving something that's "underrated" by the experts. It gives me a chance to "spread the Ranger gospel" by word of mouth. They may be expert writers, but not when it comes to small trucks.

I read the same article in Four Wheeler today. In the same mag, there was a blurb about how GM was going to keep building body-on-frame compact trucks. Maybe Ford will get the message.

+1 i like haveing to build my rig and not just bolting crap on.

alot of jeeps nowadays are just done with bolt on mods, kinda like a honda with autoparts stores "performance parts"

while the ranger is like the old school hot rod that guys custom fabbed parts to make them haul a$$:icon_thumby:

"you bought that? I BUILT THIS!":headbang::icon_welder:

Just got the new (November) issue of Peterson's today!:yahoo:

Saw your rigs walstrom1 and 59Bisquik, lookin good!

Where is my issue?!! I cant wait to get it!

The trip was a great time. I have never met such a great group of people and wheeled so many hardcore trails back to back. I have new squeeks and rattles after that trip! I cant wait to see the mag and DVD!

I'm cheap. I'll just go down to Boaders on a Sunday afternoon & check it out.

I'm glad you had fun. I'm sure you'll probably keep in touch with many of those people for years to come!

I got mine so soon because we only have like 12 people that get mail in ND so the thoughput time in the ND mail system is very short. :D

Screw most magazines, they're their to make money from advertising.

I haven't got mine either, and I've checked all the stores/shops etc... Who got the cover, or is it the UA jeep?
