Id get an attorney, tehy cant claim improper maintenance because of the BRand of oil, now if they used a diff than spec weight thats different. You have to really push some buttons an dpiss a few people off, but they will fix it under warranty. Id def get a law shark involved. (Even if he only sends them a letter mentioning lawsuit, they will jump on fixing it because its cheaper than even showing up in court) Thats the cool thing about third party mediations.

with a team of lawyers and a limitless budget like gm has, im pretty sure it would have to be something serious to make the court worthwhile.
best results would come from speaking with someone higher up on the gm foodchain... we had difficultys with our ford dealership when getting warantee on the heat/ a/c system on our 05 freestar, and after argueing with the dealer, we called up a head office manager and suddenly the dealer was all too keen to fix whatever problem we may have!
