I used to go to great lengths to find sneaky places to stash it, now I just put it in the ashtray.

i used to use the ashtray, now any extra money IS left at the gas station.

Hey now I know where to "borrow" the money from next time I see you.

Really good post topic you chose, only place for my emergency money is on me and it's just enough to get me somewhere I can get some money. That way I don't have to worry about it disappearing, if someone takes it they won't get much and they'll have to work for it.

I keep my emergency gas money in the same place as the rest of my money.

In my wife's bank account.

i just keep 2 rolls of dimes worth 10$ right in the glove cpt.

i just keep the rest of my stash at home in a wallet.. lol

:haha:

I keep my extra gas money on my Speedway Rewards Card. With my Speedway Mastercard and rewards card combined I have over 89,000 reward points in just under 6 months. At 66,000 points I can get a free $100 gas card. I am letting it keep on building up.

Otherwise, I toss it into the glovebox in the B2, and in the center console in the F-250. Although I need a small bank for an Emergency fund in the 250.

were do i keep my emergency gas money?

forget that- I wanna know were some ordinary gas money is

its 50 plus to fill the tank, bloody high gas prices

wish it was that cheap for me... to fill the exploder it cost me 65 - 75 depending on how far past E i am

the gauge is off- so i dont really know were empty is

and since the only way to find out were empty is is to let it get empty I just kinda guess

it would prolly be 60 or so bone dry

In the Ranger before I signed it over to the salvage yard, I had an envelope taped to the back side of the dashboard underneath the steering wheel. It was after I signed it over and stripped it of all my stuff i could think of at the time, and when I was on the bus half way back to Calgary that I realized that I had the $50 taped under the dash. My Dakota now I don't need to have an emergency gas fund for it as it spends most of its time at or on the way to a gas station. Then again a 5.2L Magnum with 255000km on it will do that...200km/$80 tank of gas, baby

I used to keep a 20 spot folded up and tucked in behind my drivers license. now-a-days since 20 won't buy much gas I just my check card (just gotta remember to keep at least 100 in the account at all times)

My old Dakota had two plastic finger on the 'ceiling' of the glove box for holding the owners manual. I replaced it with and envelope with $200 in it.

Then my truck got stolen, joy ridden, and looted.

Guess what the numb-nutz's didn't find..... My $200, hahahaha bitches.

where do I keep it now? somewhere else...... ;)

I often keep things 'like' that under my seat. Easy access, no-one ever thinks to look there. Works great.

FAWKIN GAS!

I WISH I had an emergency stash. The price of fuel/propane is killing me. I got 30 gallons of propane to get me through the next (3) weeks until I get paid. I'm hoping for an unusual warm spell.
