Well my truck seems to run like the fuel filter is not doing right (which I hope cause I don't want it to be the fuel pump) and I've tried my hardest to get the filter off and it hasn't came off yet! I am wonder is there a locking mechanism inside where the fuel filter hooks up to the hose? If not, how do I get it off cause I tried pulling it off and no budge. I don't want to pay a mechanic to do it, if I can at least do it.

Thank You

There is a quick disconnect tool for that, you can get one at your local auto parts store.

fuel filter removal tool?

If you go up to your local autozone or whatever parts place they will know what your talking about. It is a goofy little snap on o do hicky that when you push it into the fuel filter it releases super easy. Also try not to be right under it when you release it cause fuel will pour into your face

Thanks for the tip but I already knew about that. lol.

Ok, I need to go get that tool when I get that freakin speed ticket paid for.

They are cheap 5-6 bucks for the cheap set.

yeah i got the plastic colored ones, they remove fuel lines, and A/C lines, nice investment when swaping engines

I didn't think they cost that much! I'm always amazed how those lines just snap right back in there and never seem to leak...
