Nope, no dicking, unless its with the dealerships. I work at a local ford dealer myself, and we were told december, then april, and we havent heard of anymore so far. My belief is that ford is sending the parts out to the higher volume dealerships first, and since we see a lot more from other dealerships where i work than just our own customers, that is why we are so far behind. If you go to the dealer and they want to unplug the connector, but you refuse, Ford is no longer liable if your truck burns to the ground since the customer refused the corrective service. Im not trying to be an asshole im just letting you guys know what may happen. A local dealer of another brand was changing the oil in an F150 affected by the recall, and the particular customer had refused the service due to using cruise on a daily basis. While this other shop was changing the oil, the trucks sets fire and burns practically to the ground. Its still up in the air who is liable for what.
