This Just Fell into my Lap

By that you mean a stock sun visor? I actually played around with it and i cant even find a spot where it blocks out my vision of anything, unless i have somebody thats 4 feet tall with the seat all the way forward, then it might be a slight annoyance, nothing more.

i am 5'11" and when i had my seat set where i was comfortable i could not see the stop light if i was right at the intersection , but if was the 2nd car or further back , i did not have a problem

i have not done anything with the truck yet , i have to pay for some stuff and order some parts for my 97 , plus i sold the trans i built for my 00

Nope. No visors at all.

well my next idea is to maybe get a Leer Cap for it

I like the fiberglass ones that follow the lines alot. General Welding in East Aurora used to have great prices on those but they are still pricey.

Definitely, And that is a nice LVL2 you picked up and a heck of a price btw...in case the last hundred posts haven't said it enough...lol:icon_rofl:

i hated my 3.0 , it is gutless

and not a moonroof , a moonvisor

X2 on the 3.0. I liked my 3.0, but i love my 4.0 and the gas mileage is not that far off.

nice! i love it when trucks fall into my lap

it has the Zexel-Torsen L/S

I thought so, but when i tried to find one on car-part.COM they all say locker... Must be some kinda typo

yes the Torsen is classified as a LimitedSlip. However this is the same unit that is in the HMMWV and it does about a 90% lock under load. You can pickup a tire and the tire on the ground will still drive. Only time I've ever seen them slip is when they are really wedged.

the 3.0 wasnt bad , but i went from a 4.0 to a 3.0 , and now i am back in a 4.0 , got another with a SOHC , and the truck that had a 3.0 is getting a 4.0

I can agree with this statement, they do pretty well. This is a photo of my fathers 02 FX4 which is also the manual trans/t-case setup. This is in 2wd, and i had no problem stopping the truck, taking the photo, and continuing on my way...lol wish my trac-loc could do it.

Perfect example of it working, lol. Pretty funny that an open diff 2wd could get stuck in this situation.
