VIN Number Checks!!

I got a monthlong membership with unlimited vin checks off autocheck.com, and I looked through all my family's cars and it looks good and complete. If anybody else is wanting/needing the lowdown on a vehicle lemme know, cuz like I said..unlimited for a month!!

Is what you have better than all the free ones on the net? Forget which one I always use.

personally all that I've been able to find for free are the lil sample reports that just tell you what the vehicle is (ex. Ford Ranger XLT), what the engine is, and what the year is. If thats what you're referring to then yes, its MUCH better.

Just checked the fre thing you get when you go to there website it says my truck has 33 records...... I Believe it too...

Sound like it's a little be more in depth than the VIN, you can get all that out of the Ford shop manual. Must break down the other info on the Certificate thats on the door jamb? That also can be had in the shop manual. I guess I'd have to see what it really does have and how far the info goes. I had a Marti Report done on my '69' and it says 1200 were made with that motor and tranmission.

It is much more indepth, the report'll list are things like if it was ever in a fire, or stolen, or if its an r title, it'll tell you the last reported mileage, if it was ever used for a taxi or by law enforcement, if it was ever repossessed, things like that. And then at the end it comes with a "full history" of reportable things that happened to the vehicle in chronological order.

BTW: This website only can run reports on cars from 1981 to present, they don't have records from 1980 and previously. And I can only run 17 digit numbers, so I guess things like motorcycles are out, sorry everybody.

thanks beef, im the pround owner of a salvaged emision failing 1st gen, not that i already dont know seems like it didn't list all the acidents i remeber tho lol except for the one that did heavy damage. thank god for no emissions where im moving too
