anyone tried this intake mod?

Has anyone done this intake mod on their truck that puts the inlet through the passenger side wheel well? From what I understand the stock intake is pretty good as it is. Just wondering if this would even be worth the little bit of time and money.

Ok so YOUR wheel well doesn't have lots of extra dirt and dust in it?
