Aye, after a season of sleeping in my truck out hunting and two seasons of my girl complaining about the seatbelt poking her in the back/side/butt/leg/neck/etc... it just had to be done.

A mandatory mod for every vehicle I have anymore

I've heard/seen a lot of people doing this, but I've never had a problem killing it too much out wheeling... pry cuz I'm either at 5k or have the clutch in and idling... there is no in between

Kinda like a cruise control for the trails or something?

Or do ya go all boat status?

I mostly use it when I have to come to a stop on a steep up-hill slope. It keeps the tires from spinning, instead of slightly rolling backwards as you move your foot from brake to gas and then gun it, putting way too much torque to the ground and loosing all traction.

I have on occasion used it as a cruise control, but not often.

Shorty antenna mod--Free. Took my ridiculously long factory antenna off, eyeballed to about level with the top of the cab, marked it, clamped it in the vise and cut it with a hacksaw. Then clamped the cut-off piece in the vise and loosened the little ball on the end then tapped it off. Took the now shortened base section and ground the end at a slight taper on the bench grinder so it would just fit snug into the ball opening and tapped it in the ball with a hammer--Viola'! Free shorty antenna... Looks much better and works perfectly. Took off about a foot of the stocker.

Cutting the plastic support off the seatbelts so they tuck into the seat and don't poke me or my passenger when... well.... when you're not sitting in the seat as intended. = free/priceless

Wow! I can't believe I didn't think of this before. I just did it now. You can just unbolt it on the passenger side. On the drivers you gotta cut a bit...Will be in testing phase of this mod tonight...

I was sitting in my f-150 with floppy belts and it hit me... "make the ranger belts floppy"
