Never thought I'd buy a Ford!

So my '79 Datsun pickup was about to die and I couldn't get carb parts. So I went looking for a long bed (7') small pickup. Only Ford had what I wanted! So here I am gang, owner of a 2007 Ranger, long bed, standard cab, small V6 and 5 spd auto.

And believe me, the truck was hard to find! All the dealers in the San Antonio area had was king and crew cabs, all tricked out. These weren't trucks, IMHO. They finally found what I wanted in Lubbock and had to go get it for me. I could get any color I wanted as long as it was white or black!

Thanks. I had a time finding a camper shell to fit it. Finally had to order one and wait while the factory made it.

Well Welcome, try and finding a late model with a manual! I know I spent a long time looking before I found the ones I wanted, one a 4x2 and then a 4x4. Jump on in and enjoy the fun!
