dunno really, maybe the thermostat is messing with the sensors, ill take it to a electric shop soon.

Sure you can fix it. Get into the dash and take the bulb out.

old as the truck lol, never replaced it.

Sure you can fix it. Get into the dash and take the bulb out.

or just put some black electrical tape over it.
