Hi all,

I've been reading around the site and the forums and I can't find this information, so I figured I'd toss it out here to see if anyone knows the answer.

What amperage jump pack would I want to have to jump my truck if the battery runs down? I have a little one now that is 300 amp and works fine to jump my little 2.3 Mazda3, but I suspect it would not cut the mustard for the pickup.

:icon_confused:

Thanks,
air

The 4.0 engine uses a rather powerful, yet very power efficient permanant magnet starter motor.

It doesn't take a whole lot of jumper pack to make it crank.
