Well now I'm up to 3 RBV...

Brought home a 97 ranger for a daily driver, now I don't have to drive the 91 to work all the time anymore.

It was traded in at work with a blown rear diff (limited slip was worn right out and the spiders had eaten themselves) and the dealership didn't want to put any money into it to try and sell it so I picked it up for $800.

Like I said it's a 97 splash 4x4, 5spd, manual shift t case, d35 and 7.5 out back (3.73 gears) rolling on 31" adventuro MT's. Its got the 3.0L v6 in it and has a 197,XXX kms on it. It runs awesome, looks good and is super clean (been serviced at the dealership since it was bought new) and I'm now the second owner. I did a lot of work to this truck over the last 6 years I've worked at the dealership so I know the truck very well.

After I bought it I got an open carrier off a friend of mine for free and installed it in the 7.5 with new bearings. Cost me all of $70 bucks to get it on the road again.

Then the other day I got a new set of wheels for it from work for free (yes, free they were going to throw them in the metal bin) They are brand new off of an 08 ranger sport. They are in better shape than the deer hoof wheels that were on it so I grabbed em.

The front springs are bagged out and it needs balljoints on the drivers side, so I think I will toss some leveling coils in it while I'm at it.

Yup, and It came with a matching canopy (as you can see beside it).

looks sharp!!!
nice truck
and the rims look really nice on it.
didnt knew u could get adventuro tires up there.
didnt knew gt radial sold tires on the us.

We sell a lot of GT Radials at the dealership actually.

One thing I will say is the MT is noisy (and this is coming from a guy who used to daily drive on 36" TSL's)

yeas they are
even the AT/II is noisy, a friend has them on his ranger and he hates them already lol. they perform bad on wet pavement too.
the AT is the best for pavement/off road.

Why did ford even bother puttin 7.5s in the back of a 4x4 ranger in third gens? Was it a trim package thing? I figured they got past that stage when they started putting D35s in.

It came behind the 4cyl and 3.0L engines.
