I really could use some help here. Not sure what to do anymore and I am tempted to just sell the damn truck to get it away!!!!!
Around December Check engine light went on, scanned the code(s) turned out to be a p0302 and p0316. So About a month ago I replaced all the spark plugs since they were far off gap. Reset code, truck ran better than normal for about a day or 2 and then the code(s) came back.
Decided to take it to a mechanic down the road. He said the injector was shot and needed to be replaced. Well instead of him charging me $200 in labor and $50 for the injector, I replaced the second injector on the left side of the motor ( Cylinder 2). Reset the code, and it went away. For 2 weeks. Couple days ago the codes came back after I was letting the truck idle for 5 mins while I was loading my streetbike into the bed. The light was flashing and when I put it in gear, it barely moved. Shut it off for 5 mins and then started it up to see the light on still but no longer blinking. The truck runs fine, it's only when it idles that it shakes REAL bad. Any suggestions?
