well i got some bad news , looks like i may not make it down in march , i have to put about $600 worth of parts into the truck to make it safe again ( new ball joints , i could move the bottom of the driver side tire 2 inches , and the passanger side had 1 inch of play , and the half shafts have to be out so new u-joint time , and it has to be aligned and ny salt is not good to adjuster sleeves so it got all new tie rod's , adjuster sleeve's and drag link , plus they are putting in my new springs , and it got new camber eccentrics , al this shit gets expensive when it is all MOOG parts , but i need to be safe and be able to drive , and i might as well get it all done since the labor is free and parts are discounted [ the senior auto shop at my college is doing it , the class i am in actually ] ) so maybe in may or somethng i will come down , when i have some more money

i wish it was for an SAS , but this is my daily driver , i doubt the trail rig will get an SAS , i heard the 98+ trucks are a pain in the dick to SAS

Actually, its just a lot of labor....need to cut the suspension and mounting points, and remove the rack and pinion and bolt on a gearbox and coil buckets, or leafs....
