oem fender flare install without drilling/clips??

Can I get away with the fender flare install without drilling? maybe some silicone? would save me time and aggravation...

I'm sure you could but I thing it would be easier and quicker in the long run to just drill the few holes per flare. The clips are only a couple bucks per bag.

Just a suggestion, do one side at a time instead of front or back half at once. I painted mine that were black white and didnt have time to do them all at the same time so I started with the left side one day, then a few days later did the right side. I was amazed no one but me ever noticed it lol.

where do u get the clips? what do you fasten them with, ?

on mine the stock flares are just held on with those stupid plastic push pin things, cant remember wat there called....

They are the little Christmas tree clips. You can get them from any local parts store. The part of the flare that is against the body uses the same clips but they have a "T" shaped head on them that slides into a molded bracket on the flare. I haven't had to replace those yet so I'm not sure if they are dealer only or if the auto store carries them as well.

when i removed them at the junkyard it looked like a plastic bracket was screwed into the metal on the bed.
