88 gone wild

sweet, somethings finally going your way for once! now you just need to get some pics for us to feast our hairy eyeballs on!

name the pic ill take it. now it just looks like a sploder and runs amazing. i forget if i mentioned this but the motor we just put in has 119,xxx KM's or less than 74000 miles. runs like a top tranny is great its really sweet. 4x4 and low both are awesome and tires are decent.
interior is mint and tomorrow im putting in a brand new pioneer head unit and it has sony speakers all around. over a nice truck but dad wont let me keep it. haha
new buyers are supposedly paying 2500 but if they dont buy we're going to ask more because its worth more than that.
im extremely pleased with the truck now big sense of accomplishment. i also bought a cool bright green super ligthtweight air hose flexible kind so im feelin jolly. like a christmas present to myself. also, im not broke and i get paid on friday (which is cool cause i only get paid once a month)
ill get some vids of it running and take pictures later once its out of the garage
(tomorrow)
and ill be putting in the cd player tomorrow if weather clears up (we got like a foot of damn snow last night its brutal i had to shovel the 2 foot high drift on the sidewalk :annoyed: blah)
and my 2wd doesn't like snow too much so ill be driving the explorer out to the farm where my cd player is in the 4x4 i had but sold to my uncle on the terms i get my cd player back...

ok so we got another 6 inches of snow so there are 4 and 5 foot drifts everywhere. if i didn't drive a sweet ford ranger i would have been snowed in haha.
my truck plowed more snow than the graders today it was brutal. however i only got stuck like 3 times. lol. goin out to the shop now to put the cd player in and ill snap some pics while im there

ok so got the cd player in and found out with some head scratching that it has a factory amp and subwoofer package... it was confusing but we figured it out and now it sounds awesome.

So what are you going to do with that sploder get rid of it, if so put the front end on your truck and the interior such as the dash, etc..... I like the blue color.

So you put a cd player in a eploder that you dont own and are selling, facepalm.

lol yes i did. but it was part of the deal and everyone who we've talked to is like whoa thats cheap and we're like hmm maybe we should ask more but dad wants to get rid of it.
i think he's lookin forward to the 1600bux he gets from it.
ill get about 860 or a lil more cant remember the math. either way by friday i should have well over 2 grand and a debt free credit card.
im also goin to look at an 05 f150 i might own soon from the repo depo i bid 5500 bux ex cab 4x4 v8 (dunno what engine)
so im just in a fluff bout that.
i just want a newer 4x4 im sik of 1wd
and payments on a 3500 dollar loan are kinda cheap...

Weld up the rear, then it will be 2wd.

gonna start this again soon. after april there will b serious upgrades as i will b buying a new dd.
im goin to replace the broken leaf saturday and a wrecker i use is lookin out for a 7.5 with 373s and a trac lock

once thats complete its on too teardown of engine wiring and interior.
the 302 (either going 306 or 331 we'll see)
and going with a 5 speed 4wd tranny and tcase, (prep for sas)
thats long term. tasks soon are:
repair grill (or replace)
switch to winter tires n rims
ffix door handle
replaint trim around windshield.
FIX LEAF
im gettin a new one saturday and putting it in.
soon getting 373 7.5 diff with l/s
going to replace worn parts on diff before puttin in. first 2 month will b slow as 1500 of my paycheck is goin to savings for a downpayment on the new truck so not a huge budget. after the new truck is here my budget will be more like 1000 bux a month so

The man has a plan.

should b plenty of truck for what i do

so i actually got up the gusto to do something today and just ended up having a powerstruggle with my dad (grr)
so i lay outside in the snow freezing my ass off and tryin to tighten the darn ebrake cable that insists on stretching(?)
so i moved it aprx 1" farther on the adjusting bolt.

the dark wet spots are were the nuts were before i moved them.
