Lets see your bumpers

Hey there is a hell of lot of good work here. But I just wanted to remind you all to be careful when using zip ties for your Plates. As I just lost my plate somewhere along the highway. So what I did was take two hose clamps and drill a 1/4" hole in each one. ran a bolt threw the hole place a old hose between the tube and clap and snuged the clamps down and placed nuts on the bolts. I will get pics for you later.

finished project and finally mounted

While I appreciate the effort and time it took to create something of your own, it looks awful. I think the truck needs a shit load of lift and maybe it will look good. Maybe.

I just realized. It's all the straight pipe that ruins it. Get some curved pieces in there.

maybe some people can't afford a tube bender and make due with what we have!!!!

that pipe bender crushes the pipe, i used it on the rear, and also im 17 years old with a son, money doesnt go to far at this point...

I also appreciate the effort and time put into it, I always like fabbed stuff vs. store bought. I don't think it's too bad, though I think a smaller diameter tube would be a little better. Curves would also help.

That bender isn't too bad once you figure out little tips to use it. Pack the tube really tight with sand prior to bending, it really helps it from crushing the tubing. I still haven't figured out how to keep it from making little tiny dimples in the metal, but for the price on the bender, it's not too bad.

Keep on fabbin' man! :icon_thumby:

its not my taste but it still looks better then the factory bumper. are the bars going over your headlights? or is that just the angle of the camera. I would like to see a pic from it at a distance.

i know most of you dont like this bumper, but i figured id show it from different angles, i think these pics show it better then the original, but thats imo, im the only one who needs to like it
