Maybe try a largish (1/6" wide or wider) rubber band just under or alongside one of the panes in the track. Use a butter knife to tuck it into place and go for a drive, see if you chased the gremlin. Good luck!
I think its the window rattling in the track? Cuz if I put slight pressure on the window by opening the window slightly so the latch rests on the window frame, it pushes very lightly on the window and the rattling stops.
1) take your engine out of the engine compartment
2) ship it to me
3) finished
what a great fix!!!
sorry to be off topic, but good luck, the above solutions seem like they would provide good results....
idk about your truck, but i believe there are two different mounting styles? gasket and bolt on... if it's a bolt on try tightening the bolts? also you could try getting a new gasket if you can?
I had the same problem when I put my 3000 watt system in mine...easy fix. Go to home depot or wherever and get either the stick pads for the bottom of furnature or just some double sided sticky foam. For the foam, do not take the plastic off of one side. Just stick it on part of the window that slides on the tracks. And that's it. You just need to put pressure one the sliding window, that's all...good luck
