got vista installed. and installed some drivers for the wireless. but im still missing one, i searched the microsoft site for the network drivers but i was only able to find the 32-bit driver and i need the 64, it hooks up to the wireless with limited connectivity, so does ne one know where i acn find the 64 bit network adapter driver?

Well, if it is an on board (attached to the mother board) network adapter, then you need to go to the mother board's website and download it from there.

im not really sure if its on board. its a laptop, a hp pavilion dv2500. with what microsoft site says is an nvidia network controller. i deal with desktops not laptop hardware so.

sorry shoulda added that.

any one else have any suggestions?

Go to HP's website and get the driver.

In fact, there is a section there where they will actually scan your system for missing drivers. Ditch Vista, upgrade to XP.

quoting all the we have no winners. how do u scan for missing drivers when ur missing the driver to get online? guess it dont really matter just went and bought a new computer.

the computer is getting kinda old to me, and has problems with over heating. so it was do for an upgrade any ways.

What is the model, how old, and how much do you want for it?
