Got in my truck, went to adjust my seat and BAM the handle broke off in my hand.

Anybody got one I could have or buy?? I'll pay shipping and a fair price for the piece.

Wtf!!

Wtf!!

Can't you weld it back on? Mine broke like that, and I pulled the upholestry back far enough to stuff a "airbake" cookie sheet between the bracket and the cushion, took off the plastic trim, and got happy.

I am going to have a look at it tomorrow when it gets warmer.

Hi what year and any specific model of truck, or what years fit (explorer & bronco?) I have a 91 ranger parts truck... I am planning a trip to pick-a-part over the week sometime (possibly saturday) ... if they have one there i can grab it for you and post it off if you don't find or get one before then.

here is the search page.

http://parts.pickapart.ca/index.php anything there that grabs your attention?

My truck is a 1996, I think all trucks from 1993-1997 would work, I am not sure about other models or years that would work.

Ok, when I get out there i will see what I can find for you. What type of seats you have? or will they all be the same? and what lever is it, where located that broke?

Driver seat recline lever.

For the WIW thing, the lever is the same on the 98 (at least) X seats, too. That's what mine are from. So, I would say that the lever is common to ALOT of Ford products, like the cars, also...

when I bought my truck, it never had a drivers side handle.
the same thing must've happened to the previous owner.

Ok, will look into this for ya :) one other Q... from the pic it looks like there are some sort of buttons on the plastic side piece, is that stock on all trucks, incase i find same seat with or with out the buttons. you have a 60/40 split?

The buttons are special options that control my seats but are not relevant to the lever, so in other words ignore the buttons.

My thoughts exactly:icon_thumby:
