Lately I've been watching all these ridiculous shows on TV about how the world was going to end on Dec,21,2012, and It got me thinking. How would I want to spend my last few days? On the best wheelin trip ever, of course!

So what I was thinking, 12/21/12 is on a Wednesday, so we'd take the whole week and spend it in Cali on the Rubicon. And since the world isn't actually going to end, we could all get cool t-shirts.

I think it's an awesome idea, and we'd have plenty of time to plan it.
What do you guys think?

I like that idea for sure. Gives plenty of time to get rigs ready too.

You would need to reschedule that trip, it is actually 12/21/2012! :headbang:

" I survived the end of the world wheelin" my RBV"

You know what... in two years maybe I actually could make it to the 'con... I'm in.

Bring my ranger and a woman... yeah that's how I'll spend my "last days"

lol the shirt thing sounds cool i like that "i survived the end of the world wheelin my rbv!" :headbang:

Won't be able to make it from the east coast...?

I've got 4 buddys in Jersey that said they're in.

You have 3 yrs to make plans and save money.

Why not San Juan Mountains? Might as well have a nice high seat to watch the end of the world, hell the high ground may be all that's left, and it's centrally located. I figure Cali to be the first to go, not much fun going without seeing the show LOL! ITEOTWAWKI!

From Wikipedia,
"Jeeping is popular on the old trails which linked the historic mining camps"

That doesn't sound that extreme. Sounds like more fun to stay home and drive on gravel roads.

Prove me wrong. Cause I would like to go there, the pictures look awesome.

I think thats a Capital idea. all kinds of challenging side trails and not everybody can complete a 10 rated trail like the Rubicon.... plus you would be stuck with those snotty stuck up "My rig is better than your rig" rock crawlers........

Everybody would be dead and me and you would be cruising the ashes in our RBV's.

That's great for them to be able to go, I on the other hand am going to be putting one kid through college at that point and paying child support for another. I won't have the money to go even if I saved every penny from now till then. It just won't be enough.

It's the end of the world.......... you only need enough money to get there.

and colleges would close down with the wiping out of the human race.
I just saved you missing a great wheeling trip :icon_thumby:
