hey i have a 1994,2wd,mt ranger and i wanna know if i can still do the one piece d-shaft.Would it be from a 98+ 2wd extended cab ranger?

It'll physically fit the transmission & axle, but like I already mentioned, you'll have to check your clearances under the cab (being lowered might make the need for creating some additional room for it even greater).
i have found a one peice from a guy here in town its an aluminum one but he said it came out of an automatic ranger the year was an 03 will it still work or would i be pissing in the wind my truck is manual trans
On a 2WD it's important you get the shaft from a truck with the same transmission as yours (stick or auto).
