I got a '92 ranger with a 4.0 liter with a manual transmission and i got both cats on still and a cherry bomb single glasspack to a 90 degree tailpipe. I would like it to cackle more and ? :headbang:

get the shortest glasspack you can buy. and make sure you have it on right. if you look into the muffler. the perforated side, you with the openings, should face the engine.

thats the only way i know how to describe it.

+1, either a short glasspack, or one of those behemoths that are big enough were they cackle like crazy when u let off, I had a huge 3 ft long 2-1/2 in/out glasspack on my 2.9 an that cackled and sounded beastly:icon_thumby:

theres also the regular lenght glasspacks at autozone for 20 bucks. Or a single in single out cherry bomb extreme would sounnd purty nice

I have a cheap cherry bomb already thats 26 inches long with a 2 1/4 out let. The truck is straight pipe from the catalytic converters back. And it still doesn't cackle :bawling:

its on backwards then. there is a right way and a wrong way to put these on, turn it around and it will crackle.

I have a 3.0 so I do not know if this helps but I have straight pipe off the cat exiting in front of the rear wheel and it cackles like a mutha. I love it.
