That's what I was thinking. That, or the maybe the load shifted.
 
Thats crazy, I watched a t.v. show few years ago, it was about how those trucks are made, some of the real big ones have a man hole on the diff. cover so you can crawl into the rearend and grease stuff, now that is a big rearend.
 
Im thinkin load shifted too. Maybe the jackass driving turned to hard, see the way the front wheels are angled? However there does appear to be too much rock in there. That stone should have been by itself.
 
Looks like a classic case of a load shifting to me. And I suspect it could have been the loose nut behind the wheel.

Of course, the guy loading the truck should have nestled the rock in a little better.
