Wheel bearings help

I have a 93 X-Cab XLT 4X4 and I need to do the front wheel bearings it has the auto hubs.

1. What kind of socket do I need?
2. With the auto hubs do I need to know anything in special?
3. What is the torqued specification?

You will need either a rather large crescent wrench or the correct socket for those auto hubs. I bought the socket, its worth buying.

That link is for swapping out the auto hub but it also tells you how it comes off. DON'T forget the Locking wedge for the auto nut! Don't Turn that Big auto nut without making sure you have this wedge out! and Don't Lose it.

In my personal opinion and I am sure many others here. If you are taking those crappy auto hubs off to service the bearings. If you have the chance to put on manual hubs now would be the time. If you plan on putting manuals on that requires yet another socket. I bought that one too again worth it.

Nobody really "needs" the nut for the auto hubs.

Because you only take them off and you only do that ONCE.
