Wow that is beautiful. And only 653 miles!

Awww, man; that's nice! Really a shame about the tornado damage, but that has to be one of the most original GTs left. Where was your build sheet; under the seat or under the carpet?

1989 Ranger Pickup 2wd
2.9 Liter Engine
Feedback fuel system
4 Cylinders, fuel injection
Catalyst, 5-Speed manual

Isn't the 2.9 a V-6?:icon_confused: The one in my garage is anyway. That is on the same sheet as the milage estimates. Otherwise it is too bad about the damage, even then it is still cleaner than 99% of the trucks of that vintage on the road.

his build sheet shows that standard was a 2.3 4 cyl. but it has the 2.9 which was optional. awesome truck. are those origonal miles?

I love the manual steering selling feature. I love those trucks.

$14K new! You got a great deal on that one. You have tyo get that damage fixed! It's a rare bird indeed. I've only ever seen 1 of those trucks up close. It's beautiful!

any idea on how much something like that is worth?? i mean come on 600 miles and the kind of shape its in.....

Yeah but having the 2.9L four cylinder listed on the milage estimate part looks odd, like it should have been shown as either 2.9L six cylinder or 2.3 four cylinder and not a mix of both.

That is f-ing cool. Its got to be hard to pay that much new and never drive it though. I can't understand how people can do that. Don't get me wrong, more power to ya but I know it would drive me nuts not to drive it!

I don't think I could do it either. There was a guy last year that bought a new GT-500 from the dealership my brother works at, loaded with every option available. He had it hauled to his house in an enclosed trailer to be stored in his garage for an investment for his kids. It is quite possible that the only time the car will have been on the street was for the predelivery inspection, and he told them to make it as brief as possible to not put any more miles on it than neccessary. If it was mine I would probably be on my fourth set of tires by now...
