I LOVE IT!

buttttt:icon_bounceblue:
when i first got it a few mounths ago my top speed was 90 no complaints i dont need to go much faster until i make some changes

but my top speed it getting lowwer and lower the other day i was at 75! 7 freakin 5:icon_surprised: and i reached my rev limiter. Im guessing my govner is bad i was told i should try to disable it.....how do i do this. pleasehelp:bawling:

Bump, I have no idea how to disable it other than a tuner..... but that sounds like a factory part is failing you, did it kick out at 75 in 4th gear too?

you really want to go 90 mph? in a truck?

heck no I want to do 150+ !!!!! i cracked my old dodge past 120 (way too much fun for a lifted 1ton dually diesel 4x4 on MT's)

I am going to have to do something to get my Ranger over 90 too.... i fall asleep on the long road trips without a little fun and games.

just hope you arent dumb enough to do it while weaving in and out of traffic. stuffforyourranger.com has a programmer but i dont know if it will disable the governor

Is this the new Closed Casket Mod?

Seriously? 90? I didn't know Texas had those kind of speed limits.

Who said he was on the street? Geez. Someone posted on here a fix for the governor that invo;ved maderate speeds the park gear and alot of clicking and grinding LOL. I wouldnt try it though. I wouldnt mess with your gov personally till I figured out another problem. Either something restricting your airflow or something restricting your exhaust, or maybe even fuel. I would check all your filters, both air anf fuel. Then I would try to have your cat looked at. You might need a new cat. Are your rpms going up even though your speeds arent? could be a tranny issue.

The rpm and the mph aren't working out here.
