Well i stopped by my buddies, and they told me, i lifted the truck..... i had to go threw the ditch, so i tried, and picked a bad spot, for some reason my 4x4 didn't kick in right away, and there ended up being a boulder in front of the pass. tire, the drivers tires was spinning in the mud, and only one rear tire was spinning so could move back but i couldn't get it turned to take it at an agle once i got to the bottom, ended up having the dakota pull me out, i think ill try another day, i know i can make it, i had the clearance, took it slow, i didn't feel like breaking anything, but here are some pics:

It doesn't really look bad just couldn't get it to do what i needed, so the dakota pulled me out and he decided to go for it, stock ride height, here's his pics

he got to this point and was set on making it threw because i didn't so he floored it just before this pic, hoping momentum would help

This is where he got hung up on the hitch and the bumper:

had he not had a push bar, he would have lost more then a foglight

So i was about to tow him out, but my buddy with the avalanche on 24's decided he wouldn't let me, since they always pick on his truck, so that's what did tow him out, while we went to get the john deer, here's a couple of lil vids, ill be sure to get a vid of my next attempt,

Yea a rear locker would have got me out on my own power in reverse for sure, even an lsd, a front would have climber me over that rock and pulled me out in the motion i was going, ahh well... had i chose a car leghtn over to the drivers side i would have most likely made it, but i didnt feel like going again it was getting dark,

My buddy had an auto '80 f250 4x4 and when he got stuck we would put it in reverse and mash the gas about 1/4 throttle, then slam it into drive. Its bad on the tranny but in an emergency it locks the rear in positrac. (least it did on that truck) good knowledge for emergencies. I would just be really picky about what you consider an emergency LOL It would have helped on that ditch, but after seeing how nice your ranger is I dont know if I'd have done it.

LMAO! thats funny, stuck in a ditch>stuck on the trans under the back tires.

What wheels are those I like them

if you take the ditch at a slight angle you'd have no problem. good lookin truck.

as the suspension lift settles and is broken in the truck will flex better and should help in getting you through situations like this. I second the locker notion.
Aussie locker in the dana 35 = $250. Blowing through a ditch and watching the mopar guy get stuck behind you priceless.

Wheels are pro comp 1089 series wheels, they ran me 432$ after an instant 100$ rebate from 4wp,

I wouldnt mind a locker in the front, but would put one in the rear first,
