will the newer 16V 2.3 head bolt onto the 94 2.3

I have a 94 2.3 8 plug 4 cyl & was wonder how much more power & torque would be available if a 16 valve head was bolted onto the block & if it will in fact work & what all would be needed to allow it to work properly.

What im wondering is will the 16valve head from the 2006+ 2.3 block bolt onto the older 2.3 block. I realize that I would need to swap pistons as well. But just curious.

Oh, the Duratec head? No... Totally different engines... The only thing they share is the 2.3L displacement...
