Cheap rims for the DD

Couple of week ago i was at the local U-pull it yard and found these

There was all four mounted on some 31x10.5x15 Firestone MT that are junk. They came off of a decent 1st gen ranger with bout 4" of lift.
I picked them up for $8.50 apiece with the center caps. They are America Racing
They are rusted but i have a plan for that.

I decide to paint the center and polish the rest.

I got one done tonight, they should look good on the truck

ive been looking for a set of those for over a 2 years now i wanted a set for my s10 then a set for my current ranger but cant find none around here wanna sell em if theyre 15x8 ill give you a $100 for em

Heres what i used to paint them. If you run in the mud, it works great.

I used it on my rims that my 33s are mounted on and the mud just hoses right off

What kind of prep work did you do first before painting?

Looks good! What u pull it did you go to? I need to find a good junk yard since the last one (Slys in sand lake) closed up.

the paint works the best on bare metal. I just cleaned off as much of the rust that i could.

I go to LKQ in door.
I finally got the rest painted and the rims installed

that changed the whole look of the truck looks good

anything looks better than those old ford sawblades do! I really don't like the look of those wheels at all, and I have 2 sets i'm trying to get rid of! makes me hate em even more.
